It is solid and has a good amount of length that gives you leverage for those tight sprockets. One product suggestion would be to give the user the option to swap out the chain size so it can be used more universally on different chain types. It can get a bit pricey, even just for the parts. And, being somewhat of a do-it-yourselfer I decided to try my hand at changing out my rear cassette myself this year. You'll need a few tools to do the job, and I highly recommend Park's Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair or other such guide to walk you through the steps. But, this chain whip will let you hold the cassette in place while you use a lockring tool to unlock the cassette to be removed. If you don't have the chain whip the cassette will want to free wheel on you or you'll have very sore hands from trying to hold the sprockets.Park always makes excellent tools and this is just one more. I never feel like a Park tool is going to bend or break on me and the dimensions/width of their tools are always proportioned just right for working with...
