This review is from: Shimano Dura Ace Track Lock Ring (Black) (Sports) This is the standard Lock Ring you need if you are doing a fixed gear conversion...necessary to hold the cog in place on your wheel. It is reverse threaded on your rear hub so that when you try to backpedal, it actually tightens this lockring therefore protecting you from un-tightening the cog on your back wheel.
